Biography

Dr. Amy Bandera is a psychologist and writer. She holds a private practice in assessment and forensic psychology, and is a professor in numerous psychology doctoral programs throughout California. She has published in academia on topics ranging from hysteria to groups, and in popular/self-help psychology, on male-female relationships in the book, Key to the Men’s Room: What Men Talk About When Women Aren’t Around. Amy Bandera is also a screenplay writer, having penned the psychological thriller, The Doll Maker, the romantic, dance flick, Yulia, and the sci-fi, horror script, The Gyre. She is a former Latin ballroom dance competitor, and in her spare time, teaches Latin and ballroom dances.
