Albert Einstein, born in the Kingdom of Wurttemberg (March 14, 1879), died in Princeton, New Jersey (April 18, 1955)

After giving up his German citizenship in 1896 to steer clear of military service, he remained stateless for five years before becoming a citizen of Switzerland.

Einstein had been a citizen of both Austria and United States.

The element Einsteinium is named after him.

He was quoted for telling his pupil, Barbara Wilson, “Do not worry about your difficulties in mathematics. I can assure you that mine are still greater.”

E = mc2, which is Einstein’s formula for special relativity, is considered the best known scientific equation of the twentieth century.

The application of Einstein’s many theories have been significantly used for the development of various technologies, including television sets, DVD players, and remote control devices.
